I refound some old photos from a trip to Asia in 2004-2005 so I thought I would make a little video out of them. They were all taken with my first ever digital camera that I bought whilst I was over there. So I had to figure out the manual settings and how to operate it as I went along as I'd only used basic 35mm film cameras previously. It was a Canon Power Shot S60 5 Megapixels - not exactly a professional camera by any means but it's still going strong today! Music: Break - They're Wrong
To start off with, I say awesome and amazing a lot in this video so don't hate because all of this was really awesome...lol. These are some of the photos I took while on my conference trip to Taipei, Taiwan. It was an incredible experience. I hope you enjoy! Please Like and Subscribe!

I took to the streets of Taipei, Taiwan for some night street photography. Instead of using Digital SLR and whatever else, I thought I'd give the smartphone camera a run. It was a rainy night, armed with just a smartphone and a coat, I went around photographing the scenes of the place and the people. Enjoy! Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/leica_dad/ Leica Street Photography at Taipei Taiwan Episode 1: Traditional Market (傳統市場) is still very popular in Taiwan. This is the place for locals to pickup daily grocery and chat with their friends, especially for older generation. People enjoy that they can do a little bargain with the venders to get good deals. My father goes to the market every morning to eat breakfast and pickup local fruits. I really enjoyed going with him and spending time with him, during our conversation I found that he is also interested in documentary photography, I finally understand where I got this from. Time-lapse photography is an interesting technique that records a scene or objects that has a slow state-of-change and turns it into a video that plays back in high speed. The easiest way to do it is to have your camera stationary on something that changes slowly (e.g. clouds, plants growing, etc) and start taking series of photo for hours or even days. Hours and hour’s worth of photos are compressed into a video with merely few minutes playtime, thus creating a time lapsing effect. In another word, it allows us to see the progress faster without having to wait along the actual time!! Have fun watching :) Featuring time-lapse photography by Scott KJ Blog: http://www.scottkj.com Instagram and Twitter: @Scottkjphotography Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/scottkjphotography

I have always loved travelling. I was lucky enough that from a young age, my parents took us all over the place, instilling in us a sense of larger spaces and broadened horizons. As I grew up, I became more independent in my travels and tried to figure out ways to do it more. From learning Spanish in Salamanca to purposefully getting 6 month summer jobs in places I wanted to explore further. I became accustomed to getting lost and just wondering the streets, figuring out where would be the next good meal or when I would stumble onto some secret only locals whispered about. Getting lost was second nature back then. The only resources we had were over-read guide books that by the time you reached their recommendations, the waiters would push their best sellers down your throats. So we h...
